You just wouldn't think you'd have to remind everyone would you!!

Besides the economy, aren't people just plain leary of letting stuff from china touch or enter their bodies~~~they are notorious for putting bad juju in what they make!!

Ain't that the truth! Picking things up and immediately turning them over is my Thrift-OCD.

Meh. If I like it and it's a dollar I will sometimes disregard this rule. Got a cute handpainted mini ginger jar made in Taiwan the other day.
That being said, I am much more excited when I see something like "Oneida" or "reed and Barton" written on the bottom.

Excellent point, Lauren. Maybe the first rule should be 'if it speaks to you and it's cheap, go for it.'
